The Blade Free LASIK method is performed with the VisuMax Laser from Carl Zeiss Meditec, the world’s leading optics company from Germany. We also use the iFS laser from AMO, the successor to the intralase. These are fourth generation lasers, compared to earlier technology from Intralase.

VisuMax Laser Being Used During Operation

There are several advantages of using the VisuMax Technology for the NO BLADE LASIK method. These include:

  • Autocentration of the flap creation process
  • No patient blackout during the flap creation process. This is much more comfortable and pain free for the patient.
  • No red marks around the eye after the procedure.
  • Much tighter dimensional accuracy of the flap, significantly enhancing patient safety.
  • Fully Sterile

 

 

 

In addition to the VisuMax Femtosecond Laser for Blade Free LASIK , we also use the MEL 80 excimer laser for the corneal reshaping. The MEL 80 is one of the world’s most advanced excimer laser.
